Design Patterns and other Stuff

So this week our lecture was about Carving up the world.

A fairly abstract theory, but the way Micheal explained it, it made sense. Taxonomy and Folksonomy. I like the way folksonomy works, but the arguments made in my tute for taxonomy made so much sense. People were saying how taxonomy gives a logical chain. Folksonomy can lead to incorrect matches. Say for example, you search pink elephants, you expect an Animal, a Big animal, an elephant, that's pink. Instead you get cakes with pink elephants. Taxonomy is more followable.

Design Patterns. Too be honest instead of trying to remember or write down the list of good design patterns for websites, I was thinking about which of these I had employed on my site.
