The one with HTML and XML and CSS. Week 3?
Abbreviations are fun. Not really. I hate them. they look so scary. So excuse me if I type the actual full word. Hyper Text Markup Language (maybe i will stick to the abbreviations) is a language which was designed to add meaning to words without creating new words. Apparently it makes the internet work.
The lecture this week had 2 main points I think. Most of the stuff about code went over my head. hopefully we will learn a lot of that in the workshop. I have worked with code before, but that was VB (visual basic) and from what I can tell html is pretty different. I understood all the nesting stuff Michael said, but VB does all that for you.
CSS seemed pretty cool though. Especially after a look at what it can do to a page (csszengarden). So i am intrigued to get that working for me.
And an Apology. For this and all future Posts. MSN messenger taught me how to type. So my punctuation and capitalization are terrible. i aM sorry. lols
